Booking terms
The short version of how a stay works. The complete rental agreement is presented and signed at checkout.
Booking and payment
Reservations are confirmed on full payment, processed securely by Stripe through our booking system, OwnerRez. The rental agreement presented at checkout is the governing document for your stay.
Cancellation
Full refund for cancellations made 30 or more days before check-in. No refunds within 30 days of arrival. We recommend travel insurance for plans that might change late.

House rules
The primary renter must be 30 or older. Three-night minimum. No smoking, no events, and occupancy is limited to the booked guest count (maximum 5 at Foggy Bottom, 6 at Capitol Hill). One dog of 50 pounds or less is welcome with a $200 per-stay fee. Quiet respect for the neighbors is part of staying in a residential home.
Guest screening and damage
Bookings include guest screening and damage protection through Truvi. Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear that exceeds the protection in place for their stay.
The homes
Both properties are licensed short-term rentals with the District of Columbia and are described on this site exactly as they are. Both homes have stairs. Exterior security is disclosed on each property page.
