This restored Victorian sits on a quiet residential block in Northeast Capitol Hill: five to six blocks from the U.S. Capitol and Supreme Court, a ten-minute walk to Union Station, and surrounded by the parks, markets, and rowhouse streets that make this DC's most storied neighborhood. Historic proportions outside; a fully updated home inside.

Three bedrooms upstairs: the main suite has a king bed with a premium Serta mattress, an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower, and a 4K Roku TV. The second bedroom is set as two twins and converts to a king (tell us which you'd like before arrival). The third has a queen with a plush mattress. Both guest rooms have their own Roku TVs and share a full bath with a tub; a Samsung washer and dryer is on the same floor. Downstairs: a living room with sleeper sofa and 55-inch 4K TV, dining for six, a half bath, and a fully equipped KitchenAid kitchen.

Out back, a private enclosed patio with seating for four and a five-burner gas grill. And a detail families notice: a game room, with board games for the whole crew.

Parking

Seamless and license plate based. Before arrival we send a quick vehicle form and register your plate with the city at no charge; there is nothing to display in the car. Guests usually park right in front of the home, SUVs and larger vehicles included.

House basics

No smoking or events. Primary renter must be 30 or older. Minimum stay varies by date and is shown on the booking calendar. The home has stairs, a doorbell camera at the front entry (exterior only), and a noise monitor.
