How the pricing works
On VRBO, a guest service fee is added on top of the nightly rate at checkout. It is a visible line item, and it goes to the platform. Booking the same dates here removes that line entirely.
Airbnb and Booking.com work differently. There is no guest fee line to remove, because both charge their commission to hosts, and that cost is built into the nightly rate you see there. So our direct rates are simply set below theirs for the same dates.
Booked direct, the total is the nightly rate, a one-time cleaning fee and DC tax, plus a pet fee if you bring a dog. There is no guest service fee.
